Life changes: Heraclitus of Ephesus (c. 535 -. c 475 BC), a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher, is famous for his insistence on change, as indicated by his famous sayings: “There is nothing permanent except change.” “Only change is unchanging.” “You cannot step into the same river twice.”
The human being resists change. If you’re living a happy phase in your life, you have a strong tendency to resist changes that might take you into unknown territory. You question – Would this change be beneficial for me? – and resist changes unless life is really hurting you bad.
However, it is impossible to resist change. Life changes. You change. Everything changes.
If you want to be happy, seek change. Strive always to improve your life.
I believe that our objective in life is to be happy and that Spirituality and Jungian psychology, my main areas of interest, can help us in this search for happiness. I am a writer. Some of my books are “The Little Prince for Grown-ups“, “The Jungian Bible“, “The Amazon Shaman” and “In Search of Happiness” – Roberto Lima Netto
